A beuatiful design with many uses - I have made this as a wedding wreath to give to the bride - made in the colours of the wedding - Cut out ring in 250gsm white card and made up as required - for the flowers used silver mirri card - pale lemon pearlescent card - lemon pearlescent card and dark yellow card - cut out all the flowers and assembled - mixing some of the inner parts on different flowers - cut out horse shoes in silver mirri and decorated with pearls - the leaves were cut out in pearlescent pale green and silver mirri card - used white organza for the bow and hanger - arranged and assembled the wedding wreath and finished off by adding pearls to the middle of some of the flowers and the two horse shoes on the wreath and also some white/silver butterflies. - absolutely gorgeous when finished -
I absolutely love this cutting file design, it's so pretty and depending on the colours you choose and how you shape the flowers, it will always look different. I made it up slightly different to the instructions, by layering 4 of the rings together using a tacky glue and then wound raffia around the rings, so no card it showing. Cut out the flowers using Blues and white, using the same colour for the layered greeting. The foliage was cut in green textured scrapbook paper.
I've shaped the flowers and arranged everything on the wreath before starting to glue everything in place. Added a few blue gems to the flower centres and added a couple of my own small punched flowers to finish off.
