I decided to use this design as a topper, rather than in the way it was intended, as a stand alone card.
I used gold dust for the base card, with gold dust and centura pearl for the layers.
I added silver corner peel-offs to the base card before fixing the topper on. 2mm foam pads were used between each layer to give the design more dimension.
The flowers and the butterfly were punched from some blue double sided, pearlescent paper. I made a box to fit the card using box-board for the base and acetate for the lid. A stunning design that can be decorated as much or as little as you like.
