Scalloped Layered Cross ToppersCompleted by Gwyneth George

The base card is simply an A4 sheet of white Silk Art card scored and folded in half. The cross itself was cut out using my CraftROBO (double cut for the thickest card) with one layer being from the same type of cardstock as the case card, two layers being from linen textured silver cardstock, and the top layer being cut from white vellum. I stuck the cross base layer to the card using 1mm deep, double sided, foam tape, the next layer was stuck directly to this using double sided tape, the foam tape was again used to stick on the next layer, then I used glue gel to stick on the vellum layer, making sure I only put spots of glue gel where I'd already decided I'd be putting the decoration. I finished the card off by sticking on two colours of Mulberry Flowers from my crafty stash down the cross, and put a simple silver peeloff "Gyda Chydymdeimlad" (Welsh for "With Sympathy") accross the bottom, right, corner.

This cross doesn't only have to be used for sympathy cards, it would look great on an Easter card, christening, baptism, 1st holy communion, etc.
