Set of three lacy edge matsCompleted by Lyn Simms

I first cut out the square and the oval lacy edge mat in 160gsm pearly, smooth card then I cut a mat to fill the inner part of the square mat in patterned card, and two large rectangles in patterned card to form the background. I sized and printed out a picture, flowers and leaves from a cd I have and cut them out, also in 160gsm card. I cut the sentiment panel in plain white card and the mat for it in glitter card.

I then attached the background sheets to my card with wet glue, and mounted the lacy edge mats, with their toppers onto the card using glue gel. I added the flowers, leaves, and flat back pearls and a ribbon to finish off. I left the sentiment panel blank, ready to add when the card is needed.
