Fairy on fancy background 2Completed by MELLONIE-DAWN ADAMS
OccasionThis is an awesome card to make. The range of cards and papers you could make this design from is infinite.
I unzipped the file and uploaded in to my Cricut Design Space. I sized the design to fit on an white A5 card.
For the first layer I used a silver holographic mirror card, over that I used a dark blue plain card, the first mesh pattern. For the final layer of the oval mesh design with flowers I used a distressed denim blue effect card. These I layered using PVA glue and attached to the A5 card using DST.
The silhouette of the fairy I first used a dark green plain card for the under layer and finally used a beautiful metallic card from Hobbycraft that shines yellow and green one way and a blue and purple the other way... hence some weird angled photos to show this effect. I finally attached the fairy using 3-d foam pads and my own sentiment along the bottom.
The scope to play with various card effects and papers is endless, giving a different card. The card looks involved and complicated but it was one of the easiest cards I've made. I just loved making it and can't wait to experiment with even more card/paper choices.
