Flourishes and flowers cardCompleted by MELLONIE-DAWN ADAMS

I unzipped the file and uploaded components into Cricut Design Space. I resized to make a 5x7 inch finished card. I cut the main card out of 230gsm purple card. I then printed my own contrasting pieces of card in different patterns and shades of lilacs and pinks (200gsm)

I then prepared the mats according to Cricut Design space instructions and the machine cut them out.

I attached the first scalloped piece onto the main card using Pritt stick, and the second layer over the top in the same manner. The white top layer is cut in white glitter card and I attached this with 3-d foam pads. Some of the leaves I cut in green glitter card and some in plain green card. These I scrunched a little to give a 3-d effect and only glued the stalks down. The swirly vine I cut in holographic green/blue and just dotted a few points of glue here and there so it was free hanging in places. The flowers I layers up, and stuck with dots of thick instant grab pva type glue. I used a hotfix tool to affix stones into the centre of the flower.

I adored making this card. It was simple to make and is really beautiful. The card can be made in so many colourways either patterned or plain to suit tastes. I can't wait to make some more.
