I uploaded the cutting files to Design Space and then ungrouped the images so that I could arrange put them on different coloured mats by changing the colour at the side of the cut. For the base card I used 250 gsm cardstock, the two toppers were cut from bronze miri card. The greetings tag and was cut from 160 gsm card along with the white shapes. I used 160 gsm card for the flowers and leaves and swirls. The panels and the large oval backing were cut from paper with the smaller oval being cut from 200 gsm no shed glitter card and set the machine to cut these out.
Once these were cut I folded the main card and glued the backing paper to the inside and front panel. Then glued the other backing paper to the large oval and the glitter card to the small oval and attached both using foam pads along with the greetings panel (which I will add the greetings to later with peel offs), this then completed the base card.
I marked the leaves with fine liner and used the bone folder to score the leaves on the large flower before embossing them on the front to bring them forward into flower shapes (see additional photo).
The swirls and leaf stems were glued flat to the card allowing the leaves to stay loose. Ithen glued the 3 parts of the large flower together and left to dry for a few minutes while I glued the 3 parts of the small flower together letting this dry too before I glued both flowers into place on the card. I then glued the white shapes onto the card.
Finally I added a spot of glue to the centre of each flower and added Flower soft in black and coffee and left to dry before dusting off the surplus.
