Nesting FlowersCompleted by Gwyneth George

I chose two of the flower shapes to be used as decorative embelishments on this card and cut out various sized layers out of two different cardstock, a purple sating card and a Super Smooth cardstock printed with a design from background kit cup265388_1435. The same two cardstock were also used to cut out the dancers silhouettes cup185041_1033 and the lattice windows cup219463_648. Also a frame which was double the width of the lattice squares and a mat that is 1cm larger than the frame.

I used an A4 Centura Pearl Snow White card, scored in half and folded to make an A5 card, as my base, stuck on the mat, frame, dancers silhouettes and lattice squares as windows. I then gave the flower layers some shape with my fingers before sticking althernate colour layers together and sticking the made up flowers in clusters at two corners of the card. I finished off the card with some sticky back gems in the two opposite corners, with one gem being placed at the centre of one flower at the other opposite corners.

There is a wide range of flower shapes in this kit, as well as two sweet little squirrels, so it gives scope for making lots of diferent styles of flowers for embelishing your papercraft projects.
