Oval 2 Card With Layered Flower And ButterflyCompleted by Gwyneth George
I cut the main card out of a pink silk art card (setting my CraftROBO to cut twice) and the frame, without the holes, butterflies and flower centers to cut out of a paler pink silk art card. I also set the different flower layers and butterflies to cut out of several different colours if gold irridescent heavyweight paper, but after playing around I decided to only use a minimal amount of the cutouts for this project and use the other pieces for another card.
I put an insert inside the card and then stuck the oval that had been cut out of the main card to the front of the insert through the aperature so that it lined up. I stuck the frame on top of the aperature using blobs of glue gel and also used the glue gel to attach the flowers and butterflies.
A cutting file that alows a lot of variation in how the finished card looks, from playing around with different colours and types of paper and cardstock, to decorating with just the butterflies, just flowers, one flower, the variations are endless. You could even use it with an oval topper inside the aperature rather than the cut out flowers or butterflies that come with the cutting file.
