Patterned Nesting Mats For SilhouetteCompleted by Gwyneth George

I cut out two sizes of the Nesting Mats using my CraftROBO. One was cut from a pale green pearlescent card and the other from a darker green linen printed and textured card. These mats look very nice nested on top of each other for matting and layering, but for this project of decorating a notebook to give as a gift I decided to play around a bit. I cut a sheet of linen textured gold card the same size as the notebook cover and stuck this in place. I then cut the largerst mat in half and stuck this to the spring bound spine of the book. I took the second mat and stuck it in place towards the right of the front cover, finishing off the notebook with a simple sticker saying "Llyfr Nodiadau" (Welsh for Note Book).

These are very nice shaped nested mats that I can see myself getting a lot of use out of.
