Fabric Font 114 keyboard characters svg files bundle - A to Z, a to z letters, numbers, and characters

Here are some unique letters, numbers, and other characters on the keyboard, plus some extra characters that are popular in typing and word art, for your scrapbook, papercraft and die cut art! If you use a laser die cutter, try this new font! I've been selling a lot of the fabric font over the past few years, since selling the font as printables, for tag captions sentiments / word art, for cards and calendars. It seems the more printables I put out with my fabric font, the more they are being bought. That got me thinking of turning it into an actual font, that can be downloaded and used in Adobe Creative Suites like Photoshop & Illustrator, die cut crafters, Microsoft Word, and other word processing programs with a typing function. I am working on the fabric font to be used as a "real" font to type with, but until I get them live as a font, here they are as svg files to use in your crafts!

Use these characters to make your own cards, gift tags, purchased clip art for papercraft, sewing projects, signs, banners, scrapbooking, printable sheets, all for personal use only.

The Fabric Font svg zipped files listing only gives you a personal license to use these Fabric Font characters for personal use, for a non commercial use. Licensing will be available for commercial use, soon, and will soon be available as a real font that you can type with.

I created my fabric font in 2000, when I was designing my own logo for my business, Fabricated Frames at http://fabricatedframes.com and expanded it over the years, with completing the alphabet and numbers when I created a fabric font calendar for 2013, which since has sold on kitchen towels as calendar tea towels on other print on demand sites.

The "Fabric Font" is line art, simulated lengths of fabric, draped and folded, into letters, numbers, and other characters. I only finished the "other" keyboard characters, above the numbers and to the side around the "enter" key recently, using elements from my letters and numbers, such as, "The bottom horizontal "wiggle" of the capital letter "I" would be a perfect "tilde" ...the bottom of the 5 would be perfect for the descending feature on the small case "c", for the French c, I stretched the width but shrunk the height of the bottom horizontal line of the capital I and created a really cool, curly, funky hashtag character with it. See the photos to see what I mean.

These characters have sold in lots of colors for captions and sentiments for "Happy Holidays", "Merry Christmas", "Happy Father's Day", "Happy Mother's Day", various family relation titles, "Congratulations", "Thank You", for note cards, greeting cards, tag captions and sentiments for card making, calendars, titles, signs, papercraft, scrapbooking, you name it. I have 2 customers requesting custom word art for their projects recently, on this site, Craftsuprint.com, and these are also available in my stores on other sites, for printables to buy and download, and also on demand sites with custom printed products . I have over 20 colors, multi color sheets, and am working on different background colors and borders to compliment them.

Hopefully soon, I will get these svg files converted to font files to type with, where you would be able to go to your typing function, pick the font that you will purchase a license to download them to your computer, to pull from your font folder, where you can select the fabric font, and actually type with it!

For now, here they are zipped as svg vector files, 114 characters, 111 files, with a choice of different capital Ws to choose from. What you get:

Zipped folder of 114 svg characters of the fabric font

Somewhat serif, where some have some finishing "feet", in my case for the fabric font, little curl loopy endings, to anchor the bottom edges along the "base line", if that makes sense. Its quasi serif / quasi display decorative font, very ornamental.

114 little files, one for each character, that's in the svg format, for vectoring, used for art, graphic art, pattern making repeats that can be shrunk and enlarge, without losing the design's essence and line style, it won't get hairy and blurry.

Capital letters A to Z, including an extra, alternative W - have a W that looks like a 3r connected, the way I write my W's, that I got from how my aunt writes her W's, and a W that looks like a 3 but pushed to the right on its side, kind of like how Walt Disney writes his W's, but its really my little w stretched vertically. I'm told my lower case "a" is Cyrillic, but I just like the way the little curl goes above the top of the main lower a lol. I also have a curlier lower case "l", but for spacing and flow purposes, I lopped off the loopy curls at the start and finish points. Its available, and is on my earlier fabric font card and calendar printables, and some tag caption printables.

Lower case letters a to z

Numbers 0 to 9

All of the characters above the numbers on the keyboard, plus the characters on the right side, around the enter, pause, and backspace buttons

So far, that's 94 characters. What else do I have to equal 114 characters, you ask?

Extra characters: English pound currency, French small c, tilde the wiggle that goes above a Spanish n, cent, Euro currency mark, the Section and Pilcrow characters for reading and typing graphics, division math sign, multiplication math sign, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 characters, copyright and registered trademark signs, degree mark for temperature, upside down exclamation and question marks for the Spanish characters, Pi (3.14926 for circumference of a circle lol), and the Yen currency sign.

I made, but did not included in this listing, another 60+ other characters, short and long vowel signs, upside down "v's" called accent marks, over letters, mainly vowels, along with egu and egu marks that are in reverse, over certain latters, but I kept with the Western characters, mainly what's on a keyboard, for now. If you have a character that you want me to make, please let me know, and I will see if I can created it for you, in the vein / aesthetic of my fabric font.

I also have a cleaner, even line weight, what they call simplified path, group of svg files for my font, that I will sell in a separate listing, but this group, these characters, are my originals, with more draping and folds, curves, lines inside my characters - this group has more for lack of a better word ...character, more detail, more of a fabric feel, with the lines of draping and folds that fabric would do.

The other group of svg fabric font characters, the simplified path svg group of files, well, in trying to create a real font to actually type with, I had to make jpg originals of each character, then I had to bring them into Illustrator, to be able to create the svg files, and then bring them into a font creator program that creates .ttf and .otf files, the font file that makes fonts for typing with. Well, Some font programs came back, saying that my original svg characters, the group here being sold, were "too complex". I researched some more, and was told to go back into Adobe Illustrator, use the "Image Trace" function in Objects tab, to trace over every minutia line, every tiny line inside and out, and then go to Object tab, and in the drop down, click on "Path", then "Simplify". Well, doing that took a lot of the little fold lines inside the characters and even softened the outer line, evened all my line weights. Its the only way though, to get it made into a real typing font.

Again, this zipped folder of 114 character files is the original version of my "Fabric Font"

Thank you so much for visiting, and considering purchasing the "Fabric Font". If you buy the svg zipped group of 114 characters in this listing, THANK YOU!
