345 Frilled Edge CardCompleted by Gwyneth George
OccasionThe file not only included the decorative base card but also a mat and a frame as well. I took the .svg file into the online Canvas application and re-sized the different card bases and layers together to keep the sizes the same before downloading them to my USB stick.
I then used my ScanNCut to cut out the base card from a Basal cardstock and the top layer and frame from a purple Duo cardstock.
I also cut some flower layers using an inbuilt cutting file, from the Duo cardstock. I folded the base card in half and then used a 2mm deep, double sided foam tape to attach the mat with the ligher colour uppermost.
I flipped the frame layer so that the darker colour was uppermost and used quick grab wet glue to attach it in place - offsetting it a little to give a shaddow effect with the colour behind.
I shaped the flowers I'd cut, went round their edges and dotted on the insides with a purple FlexMarker and stuck in a flat back faux pearl in the middle before attaching to the card front, with a couple of shaped leaves, using glue gel.
