Baby Carriage Topper

A lovely design for a Boy or Girl and cut out beautifully. Cut on the Cameo using Gold Dust and Pink Dew 160gsm and layered together with foam pads. I've attached to an A5 card base which I've embossed.

Decorated with a pink trim, die cut buttons and a pink bow.

I cutout a lilac set and layered with thick foam tape I then attached to a diecut doily and and then onto a white card I cut and shaped around the card and added a thin gold border I then attached to a lilac embossed card and added a satin lilac ribbon to complete this stunning design.

I trimmed a piece of baby backing card to leave a narrow border on an 8 x 8 card blank.

I wrapped the left side with pale blue organza & white with blue baby feet grosgrain ribbon then mounted onto my card blank using DST.

I printed the details of the new baby onto matte card then I used the layers & baby carriage from this kit.

I layered up using alternate DST & foam pads so that it was not too high. I added the congratulations from 288825_1492 using wet glue then left to dry.

I added pearls to the carriage & greeting tag before finishing with a bow made from both ribbons which was attached using my glue gun.

Uploaded the files onto Design Space and resized down to fit on 5 x 7 cards and cut out. Assembled the toppers, I did a pink and blue in each design, with glue.

Matt and layered coloured blue backing paper lleaving a small border and then matt and layered a white card adding a blue ribbon on, again leaving a small border.

I then attached the Baby Boy topper with foam pads. I think that this would have been better had I resized this down further. With the pink pram I made an easel card and matt and layered pink card to it.

I added a pink gingham ribbon to the base for a stopper and peel offs at the corners on the base.

I added a pink ribbon across the front of the easel part and then added the pram topper with foam pads.

I think these would look pretty if done in pearlised card, but unfortunately I did not have any.

After cutting all the layers out, in a mixture of baby pink and white, I assembled all the layers using a mixture of foam pads and DS tape.

I used silver peel off for the borders and the final embellishments.

I cut using colours to coordinate with a button embossed backing paper from my stash,using gold, cream shimmer pearl and lemon glitter card I built the layers using glue gel and finished with a cream bow and buttons,A nice alternative to the blue for a boy,Cut beautifully.

I matted and layered the oval shapes and topped with the baby carriage. I glittered the baby boy wording, then layered this onto the other matts, the same as with the baby carriage topper.

I folded a piece of white centura pearl A4 card to form an easel shape and embellished with silver peeloffs.

I used a large ribbon tied around the base of the card to form the "stopper" and glued the two topper items on the front of the card.

I then finished off with some sequin flowers.
