Tulip Circle FlowerCompleted by Gwyneth George

I used four different coloured lightweight card sheets and one square white card base to make this card. I cut out two base layers in different sizes from a light and dark pink card (cup73928_379). I cut out the leaf shapes from green card, and cut the tulip flowers in different sizes from the same light pink card as previously and a pale yellow card.

The base layers were stuck to the base card and the three of the leaf shapes were stuck down on top of this, spaced out, just sticking them by their centre. I then took the tulip circles and weaved them between each other taking pairs of the same size but different colours and changeing which colours were in front. I used my fingers to give some dimension to the tulip heads before sticking the flowers by their centres onto the leaves.

This is a card with lots of texture and dimension simply because the layers have been curved a bit. The tips of the tulips could be dusted with glitter or some distress inks or whatever you wanted to give lots of different effects.
