Lattice Scalloped Squares

I chose one of the size of lattice squares and cut it out twice from a purple satin cardstock using my Cameo. I also cut a frame the same size as the two lattice squares put side by side, two dancers silhouettes (cup185041_1033) and some flower layers (cup198314_1033) from the same cardstock. A mat that's a little larger than the frame and more flower layers were cut out of a sheet of Super Smooth white card printed with one of the designs from cup265388_1435.
I made a base card by scoreing and folding in half an A4 sheet of Centura Pearl Snow White cardstock. The printed mat was stuck to the front of this. The frame element was then stuck to the mat using 2mm deep, double sided, foam tape. I stuck the two sizes of dancers silhouettes inside the frame using glue gel. I then stuck one of the lattice squares down to the frame. The other lattice square I scored down the inside edge of the outer edge on one side and just stuck this side to the frame to give an open window effect. I finished the card off by building up my flower layers and attaching them to two corners and putting sticky back gems in the other two corners.
Whether used as windows, as mats on a card, as trellis for flowers to climb up on a card, there are many ways that these lattice scalloped squares could be utilised in both cardmaking and other papercrafting.
