Scalloped Oval LayersCompleted by Gwyneth George

I cut the layers of this scalloped oval topper out of three different colours of Silk Art card using my CraftROBO (double cut). I used a bought in, shaped, card from my crafty stash as the base card and then simply built up the oval layers, using double sided tape for some layers and 2mm deep, double sided, foam tape for others. I used a "Dymuniadau Gorau" (Welsh for "Best Wishes") peeloff on the centre of the oval and some decorative peeloffs at the corners of the card, finishing off with some brown sicky back gems at the corners as well.

For this card I kept the tones to browns, thus making a card suitable for a man, but it could be made in any colour you want and embelished much more, perhaps with paper flowers, to make a more ornate card.
