I cut the design out with my Silhouette Cameo and that was all there was to it, so simple yet such a lovely card.
I used a Happy Birthday from my stock and stuck it on with my glue pen.
This design is so vesitile and great for any occasion.
I opened the SVG file and converted to the cutting file for my machine..
I then cut on 280gsm card and decorated the card front with paper flowers and ribbon.
Using a photo program, I enhanced the purple tones on cup163964_173 - Blue textured paper and then printed on thick pealised vellum. I then cut just the outline of the front half of the card.
I placed some brown ribbon for the butterfly's body and then attached the velum. When stood in the light, it gives a translucent effect on the wings.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the design out and really that is all there was to it. I used one of my stock sentiments and stuck it on with my glue pen.
