Something really special to add to your card or for Decoupge to be added to the middle...
Scalloped Arch Layers
Photographs from the Community
I cut the layers out of cream and pale yellow Silk Art Card. I prepared my base card from an A4 sheet of White irridescent cardstock, scored, folded in half and punched the corners. I then dusted some gold around the sides of the front and over the punched detail so that they are diferentiated from the background visible through them.
I used glue gel to stick the base layer of the arch directly to the front of the prepared card. I then built up each layer, sticking each in place using 2mm deep, double sided, foam tape.
To finish off the card I raided my crafty stash for some cream ribbon bows and an assortment of flowers from pale yellow to pale apricot in colour. These were attached with glue gel.
I haven't put any sentiments on the card yet as I think it could be used for either a wedding, perhaps where the bridsmaids are dressed in a pale yellow colour, or for a Golden Wedding Anniversary, where I could put the number 50 in the centre of the arch and the greeting along the bottom.
Love this design, as it's prefect for using your doll dies cuts with, but equally as beautiful on it's own.
Cut on the Cameo using Gold Dust 160gsm and layered together with foam pads. Attached to a Pink Dew 250gsm A5 card base.
Added two ornate corners, punched flower/ferns and the Bride & Groom dolls....Perfect!
