3D Dressing Table & Box
Photographs from the Community
I decided my colour scheme & then I ordered the different elements using Silhouette Studio to put together the shapes to be cut in the same colour and then cut everything.
I put the main parts of the box together using the strong (red) ds tape but didn't fasten the last part just yet so I had a long piece of car d & acetate.
I added the coloured backing paper after cutting to size & I added white paper to the sides to cover the joins once all this was in place I completed the box.
I then made up the dressing table & the drawers all using the strong ds tape.
I finished this by adding the gems to the drawer fronts. I then added the mirrors to the hand held mirror & the main mirror and fastened them to the dressing table using ds tape & thin foam pads.
I added the 2 perfume bottles & the lamp (this was an extra item I had in my studio library) all attached using ds tape.
I finished of the dressing table by attaching the butterfly with a foam pad. I then made the stool in the same way adding a square of the backing paper to look like a cushion.
I then cut a rectangle of cream coloured backing paper which I used as a carpet & attached to base insert.
The table & stool were then attached using pva glue. Once this had dried I placed the whole thing in the box and finished off with the wall lamps attached with foam pads.
The design is just brilliant & will be loved by any female family or friend.
