Scalloped Layered Cards 11 & 12Completed by Gwyneth George

I chose three toneing colours of Silk Art cardstock. The main card base and one of the smaller layers were cut out of the darkest colours using my Cameo. I cut the other layers out of the other two shades of card, trying to separate them so that every other slayer was cut from a different card.

After cutting I folded the card along the scored line, then started building up the fancy layers. Some of the layers were stuck directly to the layer beneath, but for others I used 1mm deep or 2mm deep, double sided, foam tape for some different dimension. I finished the card off with a peel-off greeting (Diolch being Welsh for Thank You), ad some small sticky back gems.

I love both the designs in this kit. This particular card reminds me of a celtic knot design, and for that reason, depending on the choice of coloured cardstock used, it would be suitable for a card for a man as well as a woman. Whether a quick "thank you" like this card, or for another occasions.
