In January I turned the dreaded 50 and my hubby threw me a surprise party....one of my friends had my cake made and she took and image from a card and made me a candy one to put on top of the cake....What a cool idea...I loved it! great cards for those celebrating 50 like myself!

my daughter recently(one year ago) decided to add highland dancing to her list of dance classes(she takes 7 classes)....she feel in love with it and has now started competing .

We had a kilt and vest made for her this summer.....i think it is stunning.....this is her at her 2nd competition

My firstborn son Ryan graduated on June 28th from high school and I could not be prouder.....He graduated with honors and was awarded the following award.........the Michael Rutz Memorial Award..."awarded to the graduating student who has shown the ability to move easily among all his peers with dignity and grace.

The recipient has demonstrated musical talent,academic proficiency,superior social skills,the gift to be an independent thinker and strength in physical fitness" Made me feel great that he has grown up to be a fine young man.

It will be hard this fall as we travel East from Ontario to Nova Scotia to take him to STFX the university he has chosen to study Human Kinetics.

Was so very proud of my hubby he was one of the recipients of the Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal here in Canada.

He was recognized for outstanding service to his country and community. My hubby is in the middle.
