Pretty Woodlands

This card design is for sale, please see cup547860_994. A pretty young girl in a fantasy woodland background with her magical baby deer. Set in a gold and moss green shaped frame with choice of three sentiments plus a blank on the card base for your own message. Decoupage panel and elements to bring the scene to life. (Some background left on elements for easier cutting, but of course you can cut these pieces out if you enjoy the trickier work.)

I took one of the backgrounds from this kit, together with several fairies from cup543194_376 into one of my graphics packages and played around with sizes and layout until I was happy with the layout for a card front suitable for a 6" card that I'd created.

This was then printed out onto 250gsm Super Smooth white cardstock and cut out. I stuck it to the front of a pre-cut and scored 6" square scalloped edge card from my crafting stash using finger-lift tape.

I then went around the edge using a violet metalic marker.

I took a clear Wink of Stella brush pen and went over the wings of each fairy. I finished off by attaching a peel-off greeting "Diolch" - which is Welsh for "Thank You" - which I'd cut out of holographic peel-off material using my ScanNCut.

First I layered this boy into a mask on this gorgeus background paper. A gorgeus sheet for many different occasions.
