I cut this octagon exploding box out of quality heavy card stock. Then I attached my decoupage pieces, which I made.
I made some of my own papers for the backs, which are the swirling blue you see in the double photo showing the box when it is closed and the top, which has one of these papers.
Lovely papers.
Printed out 2 copies of Papers 11 and 12. Using Tonic Rose Petal Die Set and Centura Pearl card I cut out the bases of the gift bags. I then used the 2 copies of each paper and die cut the front, back and 2 sides of the panels. Whilst flat I attached the backing paper panels to each card using d.s tape. I then added hook and loop fasteners to the tabs and assembled each gift bag using red tape. Using leftover backing papers and card stock I matted them together to make gift tags and attached them to the bags using white ribbon. What a great way to use all those wonderful backing papers you have in your stash.
I also used one of the backing sheets to decorate a white gift bag and photo frame and attached post it notes and a pen.
