Coral Bay Striped Papear Pack 2 - Cu4cuCompleted by Gwyneth George

I took too colours of backgrounds from this kit, together with one of the girls from kit cup426452_1884, into one of my graphics packages. I made two copies of the blue background and then resized, manipulated, and used fancy edges until I had a layout I was happy with. I also made two extra layers of the girl, one full body and one just her top, to put on the other side of the A4 working area to use as decoupage. I printed the design out onto 300gsm Super Smooth white cardstock and cut across the bottom of the design, working round the girl's feet. I tore round the other three edges. I cut out the two layers of the girl, and used a grey marker between her legs to save cutting out the landlocked area. I made an easel card out of 300gsm white cardstock and put a 6" square of grey striped heavyweight paper from my crafting stash on the outside and inside after doing a rough border around the outside of both pieces with a black metalic marker. I took a white gel pen and emphasised the dots down the girl's top on the uppermost layer. I stuck my torn out topper onto my prepared card base and used the same white gel pen to go around thre three sides of the black "layer" of the topper. I then attached a small piece of black spotty paper as a stopper using 2mm deep, double sided foam tape, and shaped then attached the two layers of the girl using glue gel.

The greeting I used on this design is "Whateva!"
