I inserted a Christmas background into a Word document, selected the ‘Wrap text’ from the Picture toolbar and selected the behind text option then resized to fit a 7 x 7 card.

I then inserted one of the designs into the Word document selected the ‘Wrap text’ to in front of the text.

Using the little round circles on each corner of the design I adjusted it to fit over the background. You can use the cursor to move the design to line it up with the background.

Although the elements of this design appear on a black background, this background is not visible when you insert the design into the Word document but it is important to select ‘In front of text’ from the wrap text option on the picture toolbar so that it appears in front of the background.

You can also make any design larger of smaller to suit your needs. Only use the round circles on each corner to adjust the size. If you use those on the sides it will distort the design and not look so good.

I added a greeting using WordArt although you can add your own cutout greeting if you prefer. I printed the card I had just constructed onto good quality 260gsm photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded a 7 x 7 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to the front of a card using double sided tape.

I also made two other cards in the same way. Gorgeous cards when finished. There are 11 designs to choose from. Amazing value for money.

I also do a lot of crystal art and have many of the little drills left over so I am going to add them to these cards and will upload the photos when I have finished.
