In my graphics programme I opened the single poinsettia flower and resized it to create my backing paper. I added the backing to my exploding box and lid. I used the same poinsettia flower to embellish the inner flaps of the 2nd and 3rd tiers of the box.

I opened the branch and bird images and added the bird to the branch to embellish the smallest inner flaps.

I made a lid trim using both the poinsettia flower and the bird on a branch. On the inside of the box I added a white octagon with a brown border and placed the poinsettia flower inside.

I created decoupage pieces for the inner flower to add height.
