Designer Resource Paper RosesCompleted by Gwyneth George

I took an assortment of paper roses and leaves from this kit, together with one of the oval lace frames from cup376632_512 into one of my graphics packages. I coloured the roses and leaves to a shade I liked and grouped them to fit inside the oval aperture of the frame. I tweeked the colour of the frame slightly to get a shade that went well with this project. I then created a background from one of the roses and also a greetings panel from a copy of the frame shrunk down very small. The greeting I used was "Penblwydd Hapus" - which is Welsh for "Happy Birthday". After putting a second copy fo the flowers and greetings panel on the other side of my working area I printed the design I'd created out onto Matt Crafty Bob paper and cut everything out before sticking the card front onto a base card made by scoring and folding in half an A4 sheet of Centura Pearl Snow White cardstock. I shaped the flower layers and attached them using glue gel and attached the greeting usin 1mm deep, double sided, foam tape. These frames and bows are a lovely addition to anybody's digital library and could be used to frame anything from a photo to a topper.

These paper roses are gorgeous, and with the ability to colour however you want they can fit in as either a focal point or an embelishment on lots of different projects.
