6 Mens BeltsCompleted by Gwyneth George
Using one of my graphics packages I created a card front and topper using an assortment of designer resources from the CUP site. I gook two of the backing papers from cup279978_1514, putting them down side by side so that the plainer one took up the larger, right side, of a card front and the patterned one was by its side towards the left side, making it big enough to wrap round the spine of the card after it was printed. I chose to use the bottom of the six belts in this pack for this card, putting one copy right down the join between both paper types and puting two other copies along the card just up from the bottom. I cut an oval out of another background from the same kit and created a topper to go on the card front, using silhouettes from cup265818_688 on the topper. I also made a second copy of the bottom left belt and put a greeting on it. After printing out I stuck the card front I'd created to the front of an old gold irridescent A5 card then attached the oval topper and greetings belt in place using some 2mm deep, double sided, foam tape.
This is a great set to use with men's designs. I've already created a box with one of the belts placed around the sides to give it a more masculine feel than ones with ribbon embelishments. And with six to play around with there are lots more possibilities.
