This card was made from a Designer Resource Kit by Rebecca Brindley, that I absolutely loved for the rich purple in the dress and the coordinating colour of the flowers.
I took several elements: the dress, shoes and flowers, resized them and printed onto good quality card.
Unfortunately, the purple did not print out as rich as in the sample. I then cut out each element, took a Lavender coloured 7 x 5 card, cut a piece of white cardstock to 3" x 7", edged it with a purple distress ink then attached to the left front of the base card.
I the added the shoes, layered 2 small flowers & leaves, curling the leaves up slightly and attached using 2mm foam pads.
Cut out 3 small flowers and 1 larger flower used the end of my paper piercer moving in a circular motion in the middle of the flowers to curl them up slightly, then glues 2 small ones together and attached with glue at the waist of the dress.
Glued 1 small flower on top of the larger flower and positioned in the top left corner of the card.
Finished off by glueing clear rhinestones to the centres of the flowers, the buckles on the shoes and the necklace, then ran a strip of rhinestones from the leaves down to the shoes on the right of the card.
All-in-all a simple feminine card for a variety of occasions and just one sample of what could be produced with this kit.
