Horse ToppersCompleted by Glenys Linehan

There are 15 lovely designs to choose from but I only selected 5, the others will be made into cards in the next few weeks ready for a horse show I am going to. I made 4 into fold back cards using the same method for all.

Printed the 4 designs on photo paper and cut out the frame. Scored and folded the base cards and matt and layered panels cut from bronze paper from my craft stash using dst. Cut backing for the image from light cardstock and glued them to the back of the image. Cut larger ovals from mirri card, used a punch to give the gimpy edges and used foam pads to attach them to the main topper.. I used foam pads to attach this to the fold back part of the card and glued a writing panel on the inside.

For the other card I reduced the size of the topper down and cut away the frame. I embossed a 6 x 4 card with an oval centre and cut a piece of no shed white glitter paper using glue to the centre of the embossed card. I painted the roses and leaves using distress ink and a paintbrush and then attached the topper to the card using foam pads
