Autumn in LyonCompleted by Gwyneth George

I took the image, together with the first background from cup298651_1514 and a frame from cup309415_49 into one of my graphics packages and lay them out to create a card front just under A5 in size. Once I was happy with the layout I made a second copy of the framed image and placed it on the other side of the A4 design sheet. Once I'd printed out the sheet onto Crafty Bob craft paper I cut out the extra framed layer and trimmed the card front layer with a fine deckle edge rottary trimmer. The card front was stuck directly to a pre-prepared, large deckle edged A5 base card. I then use 2mm deep, double sided, foam tape to attach the framed image on top for dimension. I finshed off the card with a "Penblwydd Happus" peeloff (Welsh for "Happy Birthday") which I'd coloured in with a green metalic marker to match the frame colour, and some white swirl peeloffs.

This is a lovely image that I know I'll make more cards from, framing them differently for a different look.
