Fairy StampsCompleted by Gwyneth George
I took one of the fairies from this kit, together with the floral swirls digi stamp cup398513_1056 and three backgrounds from cup399043_99 into one of my graphics packages and moved around, resized etc., until I had everything how I wanted it for this card. The faux matting and layerin form the main card front was created using a lilac background, followed by a white rectangle, followed by a green tone background. One of the floral swirls was then put at the top right of this. The other pieces were placed elsewhere on my working space. I used a blue coloured background behind the fairy, so that the colour shows through the translucent wings. Green and lilac backgrounds were placed behind other copies of the floral swirls. The whole lot were printed out onto 300gsm, Super Smooth, white cardstock. I coloured in everything bar the wings of the fairy using my ProMarkers, and cut out flowers and butterflies out of the lilac copies of the floral swirls digi. The trimmed base layer of my design was stuck to the front of a card, made by scoring and folding in half an A4 sheet of Centura Pearl Snow White cardstock, using fingerlift tape. The coloured in digi fairy was cut out and given some shape before attaching her to the front of my card using glue gel. I used the same glue to attach my layer of swirls and all the lilac flowers and fairies.
With several fairies to choose from this is a kit that offers lots of possibilities for making different cards for either an adult or children who love fairies.
