40s Night

I went to a 40s night with my partner Gordon and my sister Sally and her husband Chris at a local theatre ,the room was decorated in style with union jacks and all the trimming ,we were delighted to join in with a good old sing song of all the old favourites and were given a delightful supper ration box with sandwiches ,sausage rolls and crisps with trifle for pudding,it was a great evening and cant wait for the next one

My 65th Birthday

On Sunday i was 65 and all my family got together for a celebration lunch down near the river in Coltishall,because i have lived away in Scotland for 15 years its the first time i have had them all together in a long while and it was wonderful,we had a lovely 3 course meal with a dessert with candle in and then moved on to another venue for drinks and live music,It was certainly a lovely day and a birthday to remember for a long while to come

Painting With My Sister

I have always wanted to try my hand at painting as my sister is a super artist and i have used her paintings in my card design,the past few weeks we have been out and about doing watercolours and i am really enjoying it,this week we went to a local church and sat under the tree as weather was 29 degrees and we painted the Lychgate as yo can see my offering in the picture,I look forward to doing many more and improving

Taller Than Grandma

today whilst visiting the family i realised how much they had all grown,my Grandson George is almost 11 and taller than me and Lucy and Carla are catching up fast,they have a new dog a blue Staffie and we had great fun playing with him,I am looking after Carla 2 days a week during holidays so have been out and about to the park and pet farm.It is lovely to spend more time with them all now i have moved to Norfolk from the Isle of Skye and the weather is much better here lol

Crafter And Designer Meet Up

Had a lovely meal with Suzi Cooper tonight ,we have been friends on cup and facebook for years now so it was a lovely surprise to hear she was coming to Norfolk and wanted to meet up.She was exactly as i thought she would be and we got on like a house on fire ,the time went so quickly i wish we could have talked for longer but we were busy eating a scrummy meal,hopefully we will meet again soon if we go to Spain...poor Allen and Gordon just didnt get a word in . valentines or baby card new this week
