Does this pattern involve marking the pages before folding them? This is the style I prefer.

Hi Lyndsey, I have just purchased your folded book, cat design. As I am new to doing this craft, can you please tell me where i start the folding from - first page or in the middle and is fold one at the top of the book?

Hi Lyndsey, I started the cat pattern with the correct size book. Having done the first 10 folds, starting at the front first pages of the book the evolving pattern doesn’t look anywhere near correct. I am expecting the cat’s nose to be the first bit revealed, but there is going to be far too much of the page edge still exposed. I am putting mark 1 at the top and mark 2 at the bottom of the page and folding at right angles to this. Please can you tell me if this is the correct process. Thanks
