Put em Up! by Janice McFarlane

Ok, so we always new over the years how sporty Alfie was but now Harry has decided to follow in his big brothers footsteps. To add another string to his bow so to speak a couple of weeks ago, Alfie started boxing lessons this is aside from his skateboarding, football and basketball activities. The lessons are held in a barn on a local farm which has been converted. On his first time at his boxing lesson his coach was pushing him, thinking he had previously had lessons elsewhere. His dad explained he had never Boxed before and this was his first lesson. His coach couldnt believe he had never boxed before as his ability looked looked he had been boxing a while. Of course Alfie was over the moon and when he got home to share his excitement with his mum, Harry announced he wanted to have a go. So the following week he went too and loved it. As there are no age range classes, all the kids there whether 5 or 15 do the same warm up and exercise. Harry at age 5 did everything the older ones did and really proved himself. Needless to say he wants to spar with Alfie, and knowing Harry, he will probably win.

F-35 Lightning by Tina Fitch

Here we have the New F-35 Lightning from RAF Lakenheath did low approach then a tight turn Just above the tower. If you look closely you can just see the fluff forming around his wings as he turns. Not so long ago I could only dream of getting a shot like this How times have changed and I have I think got better as the time has gone by. Catching them used to be a real challenge for me.... I had to work really fast to get them shot before they went out of my view finder.I remember coming home many times with only half a jet photo

All designs are here https://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

Just a boy and his ball by Sue Way

Golden Retrievers are obsessed with balls. This little pink squidgy one is Billy and Sams favourite as it squeaks. They spend hours playing with it, chasing around the house and garden trying to be the winner. Sam was so certain he wanted to be the victor for longer this time that he fell asleep with is in his mouth. Although I did intervene when he wanted to take it up to bed later that night! lol Look out for my end of month SALE this weekend. 20% off of ALL my designs!

My ... by Carol Clarke

... youngest granddaughter was wanting to try her hand at doing some baking so her Daddy, my youngest son, had purchased a baking kit to make unicorn cookies. Well did we have fun! First of all instead of cookie cutters we had to cut out the cardboard silhouettes which was a bit tricky but nothing compared to what was to come! Making the cookie dough was the easiest bit but cutting out the cookies was very very tricky .... and transferring them to the baking sheet was almost impossible!! Having said all that for under £2.00 we had an afternoon filled with fun and laughter .... and once the cookies had baked, cooled and were iced we had some really nice cookies to eat too!! lol All in all I think it was well worth the price! lol

19 years by Vicki Avcin

11th October was our 19th Wedding Anniversary. It seems so long ago but yet it only seems a couple of years as I can remember our wedding and the prep leading up to it so clearly. We were married at our place in Jimboomba and our reception was at Cedar Creek Lodge. There was a pond in the front of the house when we purchased it so hubby built a pergola with a bridge over the pond which is where I walked over on the arm of my son Paul to the pergola for the ceremony. We had all the family and a whole fire brigade to witness our ceremony. Then after photos we went to Cedar Creek Lodge for the reception and what a night that was! Everything was perfect and I wish we could do it all again, but as we no longer live at that house (although the pergola is still standing, maybe the people there now might let us use it again lol) it will never happen. On our anniversary each year hubby always surprises me with something, although we dont make a real big deal about it, but his gift this year was perfect…….. sushi and flowers. Two things I really love. Ive said to hubby maybe for our 20th Id like to have a couple of nights in a high rise at the Gold Coast seeing it will be special. Will have to wait and see what happens.

Amaryllis by Amanda Assenbruck

We have had a few lovely fine days here after what has seemed like constant rain. I have been away on Grandparent duties and have come home to these lovely Amaryllis flowers but also sooo many weeds. Looks like a weekend of gardening is overdue for me. I love our Spring here. The daytime temps have been very nice, no jacket all week! These items currently on discount.

At last an exhibition by Carol Dunne

I am always making something, usually I have about five projects on the go at once, if I get bored doing one then I switch to another and so it goes on. I belong to two different art groups, one of which I am a founder member and we have been going now for 22 years. It gives me great pleasure at group meetings to see lots of people joining in with something I started off all those years ago. For the last few years unfortunately because of COVID we couldnt have our yearly art exhibitions. This year was the first exhibition for about three years and it was very successful. So nice to see so many people coming to see all out paintings. Here are my own paintings that I put in the exhibition.
