Foxy by Tina Fitch

Last year I was very privileged to have a family of Foxes come daily, But in December they just disappeared and I was really upset and worried as Id been feeding them daily, Mind you so had everyone else down my side of the road.Anyway coming back to this year this one arrived, Never seen him before but he kept coming to get the snacks daily, I tried to cut it down as he was coming twice a day and I really didnt have snacks for twice a day. Now he comes at 4 pm daily with the mum from last year funny enough, He sits and waits while she sits at top of bank until I have gone back indoors as she is still very nervous.Which I can;t blame her as they are wild animals and dont normally interact with humans. Now he is really cheeky he now comes to the fence for his snack and he has dug himself a big hole where he lays in if I am not outside. and when I do go outside gets up so I can plainly see him.I make them meatballs from the cheap mince and throw for them, He now catches the meatballs, It;s quite entertaining to watch. So he is laying waiting for his food.

Lunar Eclipse by Vicki Avcin

Last Tuesday we got to see the last Lunar Eclipse for 3 years in Australia. Also called a Blood Moon because the moon goes red due to the only sunlight reaching the Moon passing through Earths atmosphere. The more dust or clouds in Earths atmosphere during the eclipse, the redder the Moon will appear. Its as if all the worlds sunrises and sunsets are projected onto the Moon. A lunar eclipse occurs when the Sun, Earth, and Moon align so that the Moon passes into Earths shadow. After a cloudy day we werent sure if wed see it but about half an hour after the start the clouds passed and we were treated to a spectacular view. It lasted for a few hours as the whole event took place. So pleased we got to view it.

This weeks designs are a pretty Poinsettia Christmas design and a pretty pink butterfly design

Summer is nearly here... by Joan King

Summer is nearly here and we are certainly getting some warmer days now and hot ones for most to look forward to. Last weekend my husband and I decided to run and Open Day weekend which we havent done for a long while due to covid restrictions etc. I must say it wasnt one of our best ones which did surprise me a little being so close to Christmas now but I think the economy, food and utility prices have risen so much people are just cutting back now on what they can and cannot afford. Quite understandable. We will try another one in December then take a break for a while during the summer months. I have attached photos of our displays.

I am showcasing two different kits I have recently made. There are 4 different designs in the fairies and the Christmas gnome sets.

My … by Carol Clarke

… youngest granddaughter, Olivia aged 10, set off on her first residential school trip this week. She was very very nervous but excited at the same time! Lol Apart from staying overnight at grandparents house and sleepovers at her friends houses she hadnt been away from home without her parents. Of course she loved it and had a fantastic time! Since she could first walk and talk shes been fascinated by wildlife and bugs in particular … sooo a dark nighttime walk in the woods was what she said was the best ….. along with campfires, hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows too! Lol Below are two of my Christmas Kits ... There are lots more to choose from too! lol

A budding young artist. by Janice McFarlane

Ive always loved drawing in one shape or form. I clearly remember always sitting with my family watching tv but I always has a pencil or crayons and a drawing pad. I would sit for hours drawing and colouring. Even now I love to paint I. Acrylic or using coloured pencils. My late son was an artist and achieved a first class honours degree. His daughter my eldest granddaughter now 15 follows in his footsteps and is an talented artist and now my youngest granddaughter Evie who is 10 seems to have an artistic flair too. She goes to art club at her school and this is her latest creation all done in chalk. I think her beautiful combination of colours and all the little details she certainly has a flair as a young artist. It reminds me of those that create pictures with wet felt as it had very similar texture illusion. I love it.

Halloween! by Sue Way

My granddaughters Jessica and Imogen always wear amazing Halloween costumes. This year Imogen didnt want to be anything scary so dressed as a Hippy and she looked fab! Jessica looked amazing as Raven from Teen Titans. To celebrate Jessica went to a Halloween sleepover with her friends, then they both had Halloween fun at dancing class a few days later. Our youngest granddaughter was dressed as a dinosaur for most of the day at a Halloween party. My new collection of Christmas Family designs is growing. Dont forget I can add any family member or changes hair colours and jumpers. I can even add a baby. Just send me a request using the Support Request button on my homepage.
