Deck the Halls by Janice McFarlane

Sunday 4th December is a Christmas craft fair, of which I am having a stall. Its the only one Ive done this year as a lot of stock I gave to my daughter earlier in the year to help her raise funds for the Red Cross. So I was starting from scratch. About 6 months ago I started working with epoxy and UV resin having watched some YouTube videos. After a couple of disasters which was a learning curve. I grew a little more confident so started making gifts and jewellery. So the majority of my stall is made up of resin gifts and ornaments as well as my familiar and popular crochet gnomes. The picture is some hanging tree decorations, the larger ones are hand painted before a resin top coat. All of this is because of the wonderful tutorials and resin artists who I follow on YouTube.

I ... by Carol Clarke

... Spent a lovely day again with my youngest grandchildren Olivia and Austin. After doing some Christmas crafting (their crafty creations are to be kept secret till their Mummy and Daddy see them! lol) and having fun making and baking some gingerbread men we set out for a walk to give the baking time to cool. Of course we took their lovely rescue dog Minnie with us and we all looked forward to icing and eating our gingerbread men ... which were yummy! I wonder what well get to do this week! lol

Below are two of my Christmas Kits ... There are lots more to choose from too! lol

Agapanthus coming! by Amanda Assenbruck

Yep it is that time of the year again. With all the rain weve had this year (except the last few weeks) and about an inch over the last few days everything is looking happy again and it looks like well have a bumper crop of Agapanthus again this year. Probably still a few weeks off of opening though. Speaking of bumper....my 5 x 7 Christmas bumper kit is currently on sale.

Trip to Denver, Colorado by Judith Henry

We went to the mile high city for thanksgiving to visit family. This is my husband sitting on the capital steps where it declares the spot that is on mile above sea level. We had a wonderful experience going to museums, eating ethnic foods and traveling in the mountains. I hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving.

Snack time by Tina Fitch

Well this morning I woke up to this,,,,,,Male and female foxes waiting for breakfast! They have now teamed up together so I should imagine that I will lose them in December for the mating season.. and then in April May time I am hoping they will bring their cubs to see me.This female on the left did actually give birth last year but I never saw any cubs so I presuming they didnt survive.. But I am hoping I will get to see some next year..With Christmas now nearly here I have some beautiful designs for Christmas cards...

Oh No Mother Nature by Vicki Avcin

Well Mother Nature really is going through menopause I think. After a bitterly (and in places record breaking) cold winter and spring, above average rain during the winter and spring, we had a few lovely spring days at the end of November. Yayyyy summer is coming. Well today the 1st December is the first day of summer…. Or so we thought. Forget that, weve just had our coldest December day for a long long time, in fact it looks like being a record. The temperature struggled to get to 17 deg C and it was rainy and very windy. Had to go dig the winter trackpants and jumper out and even then with the wind, if I went outside I had to pull the dressing gown on as well! We are supposed to have more of the same tomorrow with temperatures not getting back to summer temps till Tuesday next week. So Mother Nature is sure messed up. Some places people even had heaters going today. Weve cleaned the fire place out and will do our best to stay out of the wind and inside and keep warm because having a fire in summer somehow just isnt right. The photo is of our resident frog that lives out the front of the house, and weve discovered it has a friend about the same size too. Just not sure where its hiding yet.

Puddle Splash! by Sue Way

Hubby and me have been quite poorly this week as covid finally got us after avoiding it for nearly 3 years. Luckily at this time of the year the beach is deserted, as we had a bit more energy today we so managed to take the boys down there for a run. As you can imagine they had a lot of energy, but they did lots of running and they played in their favourite sea puddles. As we were walking along Sam started digging at something in the rock pools. It was a ladies walking stick, so we pulled it out and realized it was quite new and it also had a waterproof bag attached to it with an iPhone inside! Once we were home, I put on a mask and took it to the police station. I really hope it is claimed, but do wonder how it got there. Here are a couple of my lovely new Christmas designs. I hope you like them as there are more to come!
