Tiger Harry by Janice McFarlane

Both of my grandchildren are sporty, infact so is my daughter and son in law. Both Harry and Alfie Box. Alfie goes a couple of times a week, Harry just once for his age range. Alfie is preparing for tournaments so his training is a lot more intense. Harrys however is a little less full on. His coach is called RayRay and he loves her. Harry will give his all and loves training with her. His last session he was having a fun spar with her and was really giving it his all. He actually did get a few good punches in as well as ducking some of her responses. She even posted on social media that for his age, which is 6 his level was insane. Rocky watch out because Tiger Harry is coming for you.

Poor Sam by Sue Way

Last weekend on the way back from the beach. Billy and Sam splashed in their favourite puddle. But when Sam came out he was limping. I checked his paw and noticed he had scraped his pad. He walked home ok, but hubby went to the pet shop to buy him a special paw boot to protect it so he could still have his walks. He let us put it on him but was very sorry for himself and climbed up on Daddys lap for a cuddle. He still had his big Golden smile though. It has already started to heal, so we have downgraded to a balloon-style protector, so hopefully he will be back on the beach this weekend.

SPRING IS ALREADY SPRINGING by Wanda Lipski

I dont have grandchildren to brag about, and life in France is not all baguettes and snails, but we are having a gently winter. Having said that I spent last weekend up a mountain in a snow storm, but came down to more clement weather. With my husband in the hospital being chopped about in preparation for radiotherapy, I snapped this picture while out walking my dog. It just seemed so beautiful in all its droopy simplicity and these little catkins filled my heart with hope that life goes on and renews itself and that we might beat cancer, or at least hold it off for a good long while. Blessings to any of you out there in the same boat. And because us ladies/nurses/carers are just great I thought Id take a run at International Womens Day... ENJOY!

Yesterday when coming home we were stopped at a set of lights and saw this weird looking car stopped at the opposite set of lights. Even hubby didnt know what it was and I swear he can tell you what sort of car anything is. So when we got home we looked up the registration and it came up as a 2018 McLaren 720S First time weve seen anything like it and havent even seen one at any of the car shows we go to. On further investigation I dont think we will be getting one any time soon unless we win lotto! One could buy a house for the price. So we will continue to dream on for a while longer.

Im Back making designs by Judith Henry

Seems people have wondered where I am. - I took off a few months to Traveled, support family and friend, and pick up my new flute and play in several opportunities. COVID got me playing and taking online lessons. From there I joined the new horizon band. Word gets out and I played duets for church. And everything blossomed from there. Im now in a quartet, flute choir, besides band and lessons. But Im back designing cutting files and particularly popup cards.

My dog Dolly really needs some grooming, cant believe how fast her fur grows.She was only groomed beginning of January and just look at her now. Very furry indeed. Have to wait till March now, I thought being winter she may not grow so much but I was wrong she really needs it now lolShe absolutely hates it too going to groomers well I think its the car ride more than the grooming parlour! Oh well 3 more weeks to go
