I have my Pantry finally! by Vicki Avcin

Finally our new walk in pantry is pretty much done. Benchtops and flooring still to be done but those will be done once our kitchen is also completed. Looking now at the EOFY sales are coming up to purchase an all freezer upright freezer that will go into the pantry. Also looking for a fridge, preferably all fridge, which will go in the kitchen. The room we have made the walk in pantry in we think was supposed to be a dining room as there was a small pass through where the door way from the kitchen now is. The pantry is all new walls as we extended the small walk in robe in our bedroom to make that bigger and formed the new wall for the pantry. Unfortunately we couldnt do a full length wall as where the microwave is in the corner, there is plumbing for the ensuite toilet behind that and also there is a big window that the wall wouldve ended up in front of one end. So finally I am able to pull crockery, glassware and other kitchen items out of boxes and give them a place. Corner pantry is huge and I just love how much stuff I can put in there. Weve started pulling the kitchen apart now (the pantry that was in there) is already gone as I now have its contents in the walk in pantry. One happy Mumma here and so looking forward to the kitchen renos now. Its a good feeling as hubby and I custom built the entire walk in pantry. Took us a while but we did it!!

This weeks designs are Wedding themed. One is an activity booklet packed with things for kids to do at a wedding and the other is a set of 2 placemat sheets with games/colour ins etc for kids.

Happy Birthday to me!!! by Sue Way

Last Sunday was my birthday! I decided to take the next day off of work so that I could really relax. I had a lovely day starting off with some presents from hubby, including a beautiful bunch of flowers. After a delicious lunch of veggie prawn cocktail, made by hubs, my daughter, son-in-law, granddaughters and Cookie the dog all arrived. I was spoilt with even more presents including another colourful bunch of pretty flowers, some comfy pjs and some plants for the garden. All my favourite things! Then they all sang Happy Birthday while I blew out the candles on my Birthday carrot cake. I really enjoyed a lovely relaxed day.

Gotcha!! by Tina Fitch

My youngest granddaughter is absolutely obsessed with animals, my daughter takes her to their local zoo more than once a week.Elsea loves to touch. She at the moment has no fear of anything, which is a good thing in someways but obviously not in others. Here she is at her local zoo holding the Racoons tail. , I am not sure they are supposed to be touched but when I was with them they came right up to you and wasnt scared at all, and of course you walk through their compound so Im presuming its ok. I think if wed let Elsea out of her buggy to walk she would be in amongst all of them.

D-Day 80 by Janice McFarlane

Im sure most of us will be aware that June 6th we celebrated the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings. A Key strategy in helping us win WW2. As I was watching the various celebrations in the UK and Normandy on the TV it was sad to hear that a lot of young people and children had no idea what D-Day was about and why it was so important to us. One thing I can say that was not the case in my grandsons school. With the school being on an RAF base the children were celebrating and were asked to attend school in 1940s War costume and my grandson Harry dressed as a child evacuee. Not only that he wrote a little piece in class which I wanted to share. 80 Years ago there was a war. No one to be scared. Europe is going to fight Germans in France. Lets be very brave, work as a team. Come on we got this. Help us win the war against Germany.
