Its Arrived! by Vicki Avcin

Renovations continue to our kitchen and time to get the stove. Being disappointed at the Home Show not having anything we ended up doing the rounds of a few stores looking at different stoves, finalizing it down to the one I want. Pricing varied a fair bit between stores but now I had seen and investigated, we came home and went to an online store here that only does appliances. I had looked at this stove on that site but really wanted to see it and hear what salesmen had to say about it rather than buying sight unseen. So we looked at it on the Monday and price was hundreds of dollars cheaper than what wed seen instore. I also had been looking at range hoods so after talking to the person on the sites chats, managed to get a few more dollars knocked off for a package deal. So it was delivered on Monday and Im looking forward to getting it all wired in. I will have to get used to induction cooking as Ive always had gas, still prefer gas I think, but everyone raved about the induction, plus it will be a lot easier to clean. Oven has an air fryer function too as well as all the normal baking, grilling etc. Cant wait to start using it.

This weeks designs are Aussie Christmas designs. Find all my Aussie Christmas by doing a search in my store

… that time of year again when we get fog and mist, cold and wet days with frosty mornings but often have warm sun later in the day! It plays havoc with choosing what to wear! lol. Manys the time I set out for a walk wearing a woolly hat, thick jumper, coat and scarf and feel cold .. .. and then after a shortish time I end up far too warm and have to carry them! lol. But these weather conditions are what make our Autumn soooo wonderful with spectacular displays of colourful Autumn leaves and a wonderful assortment of fungi!!

Puppy Love by Janice McFarlane

After losing their beloved Roxy a beautiful Staffordshire Terrier a year ago my daughter and family werent particularly looking to get another one just yet. My daughter and son in law were just browsing on a reputable website and came across a breed they were unfamiliar with but just fell in love with the pup. The breed is of German origin and is Weimaraner. Originally a hunting dog from the Weimar region in Germany. The deal was done and last weekend they travelled 4.5 hours to Aberystwyth in Wales to pick him up. They have called him Otto and he has already settled in really well. I am looking forward to meeting him probably after Christmas.

Sweet Sam by Sue Way

Our Golden Retrievers, Billy and Sam, both have their funny little ways that make us laugh every day. Billy talks to us by mumbling. After dinner every evening, he climbs onto my lap and tells me his news, and we have a nice little chat. Sam disappears upstairs every morning, drags his bed blanket down the stairs, and either lays on it or walks around with it in his mouth. He also likes to steal socks if you leave them lying around. They are so cute that they can get away with anything.
