I printed the design twice on good quality card and cut out the pieces. I also made two inner handles in the same pattern and glued them using wet glue. I then glittered the peacock's upper wing, neck and crest with gold glitter, before covering both pieces with self-adhesive book covering. Using DST, I joined the pieces together and added two colour-matching glittered butterflies from the collection cup1100734_68705 which I also covered with the self-adhesive book covering.

I absolutely love this design and it looks so beautiful made up yet wasn't hard to do at all.
