I selected a book of the correct height and page numbers, managing to find one with gilt edges, which always makes the finished product look extra special.

I marked all the pages following the measurements in the pattern.

Then I folded each one to the marks, trimming off strips from the top or bottom where necessary to avoid bulky overhang across the spine.

This is a particularly lovely font that has been used and the completed project really looks beautiful. The photos don't do it justice.
