I printed the pattern out and checked my book had sufficient pages, mine had more so I split the extra pages equally at the beginning and the end.

I marked each page carefully and then cut and folded it according to the tutorial .

It took me longer to do than a pattern that is folds only but was well worth the extra work.

When I had finished all the cutting and folding I covered the book in good quality wrapping paper, coloured the letters with a permanent marker and then added a ribbon.
