Printed on heavy white card, cut and scored the base, and glued with pva glue. The lid was also prited on heavy white card and cut out plus the inner lid. The centre was cut out, and two ribbons chosen. I laid horizontal rows of the plain pink first of all, securing in place and keeping taunt, using sellotape. Then threaded the pink multi coloured ribbon vertically, also securing these ribbons in place with sellotape. I then ran pva glue around the edge of the ribbon and sellotape and laid the cut out hexagonal piece over the working of the ribbons. Then scored and folded the rest of the lid to complete the top.
**The bottom photograph is a second box I made, with a different woven top.
