A method for making a multicolored bead necklace.
Steps
-
Make the beads into a design that you like to have. It's always better to draw out a design pattern on a piece of paper before purchasing your beads or putting the necklace altogether. If you have lots of bead's already then use these to inspire your design.
Â
-
Thread the beads in the order of your design plan.
-
Put a bead near to the clip, holding the thread with one hand as you insert the clip, so as to prevent the beads from falling off.
-
Attach the string in the clip.
-
Pull the string out of the bead and tie it right underneath the bead.
-
Check the strength of the necklace and placement of the beads.
-
Finished.
Â
Tips
- Measure your neck for proper fit before giving a start.
- For extra hold, tie the string twice.
- Another fun thing to do is make a beaded necklace with beads having letters on them.
Â
Warnings
- Do not let kids under five-years old do this project alone.
- Make sure not to tie the necklace too tight.
