Steps

Select a fake bug, safety pin, and method of wearing. Make sure you have all the materials.

Poke the safety pin through the bug. Don't stab; the pin should be sort of parallel to the bug, kind of like an eyebrow piercing. Make sure you get it deep enough that it won't pull out.

Close the safety pin.

Thread the chain or ribbon through the safety pin. If you're using a hair tie or other already closed loop, do this before Step 3.

Wear the bug. Even people who are scared of it will give you compliments!
Tips
- Get the scariest bug possible. Spiders are great.
- Don't tug on the bug when you're wearing it; it might tear off.
Warnings
- Don't prick yourself with the safety pin!

- Plastic/other material artificial bug, 1 inch or bigger
- Safety pin 2/3 of to same length as bug
- Hair tie, ribbon, necklace chain, etc.
