Steps
-
Gather your supplies.
- Cut six pieces from the PVC Pipe (5.7 cm).
- Paint the pipes with the shiny bronze paint.
- Grab the metallic rod and paint it with the white paint.
- Wait for the pipe and the rod to dry.
- Cut a piece of Velcro strap from the smooth side that can go around your wrist. If your wrist is big, buy a bigger Velcro strap.
- Cut a 2 cm piece from the rough side and stick it on the Velcro strap that is going to go around your wrist.
- Cut a 4 cm strip from the rough side and stick it on the pipes.
- Wear the Velcro strap on your wrist and and stick the pipes on.
Create the shooting effect
- Take footage of you doing the motion like you were going to fire the web.
- Adjust the camera so that the shooter and your hand is just showing.
- Thread the web into the shooter.
- Film.
- Pull the web out and move your hand like you're about to shoot the web and CUT!
-
Reverse the footage of the web and mix it with the wide shot (from earlier).
Tips
- The longer the metallic rod is, the better.
- Do more than a second coating when you paint.
