Everyone loves a spa night! But when you go digging around in your drawers and cupboards, you find no face masks! Here is a way to make your own!
Steps
-
Gather up the materials listed in the Things You'll Need section. You do not want to go from place to place while everything is being done.
-
Wash your face. This is very important. Be sure to use warm water to open your pores so the mask really works.
-
Mix together the ingredients you have. Most of the time, you make face masks out of food. You can find a lot of recipes throughout the internet, but some of the ingredients are listed in the Things You'll Need section.
-
Apply it to your face. Don't be too harsh because face masks are meant to cleanse, soothe, and relax the skin. Be gentle!
-
Wash or peel off the mask. Most food masks are wash or rub offs, but some are peel offs, like when you use egg or egg whites.
-
Enjoy your soft skin! All face masks, no matter what they are for, will make your face softer than it really is. Enjoy it!
Tips
- Make sure you use warm water for everything. It will open your pores, and it will make it easier to take things off.
- Be gentle! You don't want to over-scrub your face! It would make it irritated and strip it of its natural oils.
- Have fun! Sometimes things may be a little work, but have fun with it! It's so worth it!
Warnings
- Be careful! This is a no-brainer, but just be careful. You don't want to get hurt while trying to relax your skin.
- Be sure to test ingredients on your wrists before putting it on your face. You never know if you are allergic to the ingredients!
