Steps
-
Select your daisy. The quality of daisy selection is paramount. Look for daisies with short but thick stems, as this will make them stronger. Look for healthy, fully open ones as well.
-
Make a small incision at the base of the stem with your thumb nail. Be careful not to go all the way to the bottom. The slit should be just a bit longer than the width of the daisy stem.
-
Thread the stem of another daisy through the slit.
-
Repeat the process with subsequent daisies.
-
When you think your daisy chain is long enough, thread the stem of the last daisy through a small slit at the top of the first stem.
Tips
- Use a daisy with a longer stem for the last one so you can tie it round as they easily come apart.
- Use longer daisy stems to create a sparser chain and shorter steps to produce a dense chain.
Warnings
- After about half an hour, the daisies will start to close up due to lack of water.
- It can also cause toxic with the amount of poison in its stem
