This puts a brand new meaning behind a night light; you can make your own glowing ice bulb! Just follow these simple steps and you will be well on your way to having your own glowing ice bulb.

Steps

  1. Attach the wires to the LED.

  2. Stuff the LED into a balloon.

Tips

  • When removing the balloon rubber, you may need to use hot water or scissors. If you need to use scissors, start trying to pull the balloon away from the ice. Once you've got an air bubble, cut there, and pull. Cut and pull, cut and pull..


Warnings

  • Do not place your ice bulb on surfaces that can be damaged by water. Your ice bulb will melt (unless it's outside in a very cold place) and water can damage electronic equipment, some wooden surfaces, floors, important documents etc.
